« 100 ans de Soulages » Musée Fabre

For the “Soulages in Montpellier” event, the Musée Fabre invited Franck Noto to produce an artistic performance inspired by the painter Soulages. The performance took place in several stages, in which the first museum visitors were invited to tag a large wooden panel. Next, Franck affixed a Plexiglas plate and installed lighting on the panel. The performance ended with him unveiling the final work by removing the dark matter using Soulages‘ scraping technique. His signature loops providing a glimpse of the panel bringing together the work entitled « L’Entre-Soi».
