Scratch Off – Kolly Gallery

Rather than presenting 15 paintings for three weeks, Kolly Gallery offered a conceptual exhibit comprised of one painting per day for five days, repeated 3 times a year. This is how Franck Noto’s three series « Undercover, Scratch Off and Waves » were exhibited in 2019.

In this series, by recreating the effect produced by a spray paintcan, such as those he’d previously used, Franck Noto pays tribute to his time in the world of graffiti. His two worlds meet on the canvas and give birth to a new style for which he uses a different color palette.
