Undercover – Kolly Gallery

Rather than presenting 15 paintings for three weeks, Kolly Gallery offered a conceptual exhibit comprised of one painting per day for five days, repeated 3 times a year. This is how Franck Noto’s three series « Undercover, Scratch Off and Waves » were exhibited in 2019.

Undercover : A playful way of uncovering what’s hidden below, a piece of torn canvas allows the bright, colorful lines to emerge back to the surface. Like a personality that never fully reveals itself, each unique painting gives a glimpse of more or less of the colors beneath.
